Nothing evokes memories of a more civilised era than an old fashioned train ride! Experience a little piece of history on one of our beautifully restored trains, running between April and September, with our Santa Specials in December.
Season Alford Valley Railway is OPEN on Sat. 30th March, weather permitting. What an opportunity for passengers to take their sledges and sleds to the wintry wonderland that is Haughton Park!
First Train leaves Alford at 12.30pm; Last Train at 4.00pm. From Haughton our First Train leaves at 12.50pm and the Last Train at 4.05pm. These times are approximate.

We are open on weekends only until July and August, when it is every day.
We do book School and Parties during the week from April onwards, so please read the `Booking a Trip“ page for information.
Alford Valley Railway Company reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel operating times, or the timetable, without notice. All customers are advised that running times may alter for a variety of reasons, eg. weather, volume of passengers, training etc. Please check with the driver if in doubt.

Child: £3 (up to 15 years of age)
Babes in arms travel free.
Season Tickets: £35 (for family of 4)
Family Tickets: £20 (for family of 4) A family ticket lasts for a week.
