The first is a former Aberdeen Transport Tram-car, dating from 1895, which was rescued from a garden in Ellon, where it was in use as a summer-house. It was painstakingly restored by volunteers, staff and helpers and Alford Valley Railway company is justifiably proud, not only of the carriage´s heritage, but the fact that it is still in operation day.
The Jubilee Coach
This is a purpose-built 50-seater carriage named the ´Silver Jubilee´ after 25 years of operation of the independent Alford Valley Railway.
